Day 31 of Challenge (60/60), Class #32 and Extra Sticker for Dressing Up! ~ Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween my peeps! This is one of my favorite holidays and I was excited to see that our studio was giving an extra sticker to those participating in the Challenge for dressing up today. I took the day off of work so I could hit the 12pm class at Stony Point and then also Trick or Treat with my kids tonight. I am not sure who is more excited, my kids or me…

My sweet hubby bought me some bulk coconut water yesterday and I am telling you it has made a huge world of difference for me. I wasn’t a believer in the coconut water until now. This is the brand he brought me but I tell you I feel like a new person now. I was definitely missing some key electrolytes from doing so much yoga and this is the best way to get them back in your system naturally.

Personally I like to drink it chilled and over lots of ice because it does have an odd taste to it that has to be acquired in my opinion. I am starting to really like it though and make sure I drink one after I take class. I think that’s why I felt pretty good this morning and not as fatigued. Also I made sure to get about 7hours of sleep last night. Thanks to Michael for letting me sleep in and handling the babies today.

Michael is the one who came up with my yoga Halloween costume… he said why don’t you be a Chippendale Stripper? Brilliant right? Here I am at the studio and also a quick pic of a couple people dressed up before class started.

The funny thing is the costumes really don’t make it through class usually. Today by the end of class we had Barbie and the Devil that made it through the whole class without getting rid of their costumes.

Dressing up for class today made it even more fun to go to class. I was so excited to get there in costume that I forgot about how much pain I going to endure.

Jessica  taught class today and she came as the dark fairy. She made great Halloween jokes throughout class and it was just so fun today!

I had a strong class even though my muscles were pretty tight and achy after doing the double with Garland yesterday.

Today in class Jessica said the reason why our muscles hurt and resist us so much in class is because they have been asleep for so long. She said it’s like when you are sleeping and someone wakes you up, you are pretty pissed off. That is the same with out muscles. Our muscles are angry and pissed off until we start to really work on them and get them awake and then they don’t hurt anymore. I was thinking at that moment, my whole body must be in some deep hibernation because I was in some pain for sure. At least I know I am doing it right if I am hurting. Basically I am sore and achy most of the time now, it is almost normal.

Well today I got my class 32 over with and an extra back up sticker for dressing up. I even had to enlist a volunteer to put my stickers on at the other studio since I went to the Stony Point location today.  I am already thinking of what to dress up as next year.

Namaste Peeps!
